Service scope

SpendNote is a personal bookkeeping and budget helper. It is not a bank, broker, lender, accountant, law firm, tax adviser, or financial institution. The app is intended to help you record transactions, review spending, and understand budget progress.

No financial advice

SpendNote does not provide investment, tax, legal, lending, banking, or credit advice. Charts, reports, budget calculations, recurring-cost estimates, insights, and reminders are informational only and should not be treated as professional advice.

Results depend on the data you enter and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Notifications and reminders may be delayed or not delivered because of device settings or system behavior. Do not rely on SpendNote as the sole basis for payment deadlines, tax filings, or other important financial or legal decisions.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter, edit, import, export, or restore.
• SpendNote is a local-first app, not a cloud backup or data-recovery service. Uninstalling the app, device loss or damage, system failure, storage corruption, or loss of a backup file may permanently remove data that has not been separately backed up.
• You are responsible for keeping current backup copies in a location you control and for where you save or send exported bookkeeping data and local backups.
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple Account and device-level security methods used with the app.

Availability and changes

Features, supported countries, supported languages, and pricing may change over time. Features marked as coming later, preview, or not yet available are not already delivered subscription benefits.

SpendNote will provide the Pro access purchased for the applicable paid subscription period. If a security requirement, legal obligation, or circumstance outside our reasonable control materially prevents that access, any refund or other remedy required by applicable law remains available.

Limits of liability and consumer rights

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, SpendNote is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. The developer is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from use of the app, inaccurate records or estimates, delayed or missed reminders, loss or corruption of local data, subscription interruptions controlled by Apple, or device loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If mandatory local law conflicts with these terms, the mandatory local law controls.

Subscription products

SpendNote Pro offers monthly and yearly Apple App Store auto-renewable subscriptions. The developer configures the available subscription plans, price tiers, and introductory offers in App Store Connect. Apple displays and processes the applicable storefront price, billing currency, tax treatment, and offer eligibility, which may vary by storefront and Apple Account.

Billing and renewal

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, following Apple's rules.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account after any eligible free trial or introductory offer ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple Account subscription settings.

Restore and refunds

Restore purchases uses Apple's restore flow and can re-check subscription entitlement on this device. Refund requests, billing disputes, and some cancellation outcomes are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory refund, cancellation, or other consumer right under applicable law.

What Pro includes today

Pro includes advanced filtered reports, recurring-cost control, deeper spending insights, longer trend views, unlimited budgets, privacy-safe Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and full-history CSV export. iCloud sync and shared ledger are not current delivered subscription benefits.

App Store license

If you downloaded SpendNote from the App Store, your license to use the app is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement that agreement; if there is a conflict about the app license, Apple's agreement prevails.
